The Off Broadway Theatre (OBT) is Salt Lake's downtown hot spot for comedy.

Since 1994, we have presented famous comedies, musicals and plays such as: Noises Off, Little Shop of Horrors, See How They Run, and more.

Along with these, OBT has been known for our outrageous parodies: Robin Hood: Boyz in the Hood, The Adventures of Sheerluck Holmes and Dr. Snotson, Grabnet, Peta Pun & the Pirates, Forever Dead, The X-Mas Men, The X-Mas Files, not to mention Dracula versus Frankenstein, the Wolfman, Jekyll & Hyde, the Hunchback, etc...

OBT is also the home of Utah's longest-running and most popular improv comedy show, Laughing Stock. If you've seen "Whose Line Is It Anyway", you know the basics. The difference is, here there are no TV cameras and tape editing. You see the genius and the foolishness. Often times, the foolishness is more funny. And, it’s what sets Laughing Stock apart from the rest.

We are located in downtown Salt Lake City at 272 S. Main St., and you can contact us by phone at 355-4628 (that's 355-4OBT for those who want an easy way to remember our number).
